We built a new house outside of Blanco and moved in a couple of months ago. We've seen plenty! None in the house, knock on wood!

Demon WP at tractor supply. Mix in pump sprayer and spray perimeter of your home 4X a year. Will have very few, if any, inside anymore. Demon been killing em this year. Now it's warmer and drier I've been seeing a few dead ones outside.

My son was stung twice last Sunday just above the knee. It was in his jeans. We usually see one every couple of months in the house. We have the attic & house sprayed every Qtr.

Killed one under a lot at my house in Crosby the other day, but he may be a transplant from Waelder. Dead either way.

I hate them! We were overrun with them last year, but I have only seen one so far this year. I hope I don’t see any more, but bet I will!

Our cats killed one in the house last week. In the year and a half we've lived here that is #5 in the house. They killed 3, I killed one, one was dead in a light fixture when we moved in.

Always have them show up around the wood pile. Between those and snakes I'm very cautious.

Spread diatomaceous earth in your attic. They crawl up the side of your house, enter through the eaves, get in the attic and come through lights, fans, etc.

                        The DE cuts the exoskeleton.

I used in in Wimberley and it worked VERY well to keep them out of the house.

                            Ha!
I associate them with drier climates, but Leon county has them.
Bandera co is lousy with them
