I should be able to work up a load for it next week. I plan on using 180gr Partitions.

IMR 7828 and IMR 4350 show promise. IMR 7828 shows the best avg velocity(3013) and the best SD (9) for 5 shot groups using Nosler 180 gr partition. Groups were MOA so far.

If it was a creedmoor that SD would be zero. Just sayin.

Lol. Why don’t you know the Creedmoor is a magical round capable of perfection. 😂

I am working up two different loads for this rifle. This is a 150 gr Sierra Gameking SPBT. Powder is IMR 4831. Velocity is 3238 fps avg and there is 4 shots in that 100yard group, subtract one bullet diameter .308 from that measurement. The outside temps are horrible for doing load development, but I think this will be a good one for deer sized game. I am currently working up a load with a bonded 180 gr bullet for Elk sized game.

                            That's awesome.

If the groups from the 180s are even close then I'd shoot everything with the 180. The deer won't complain and it will be less to keep up with.

                              Dont want no overkill.

I aint got a load from a bonded bullet that is worth bragging about yet. IMR4831 and H4350 show some promise though. Reloader 22 makes good groups but it is temperature sensitive when it gets hot outside.

If you’re getting good groups with RL22 then check into RL23. It’s supposed to be very temperature stable. I have a couple pounds of it that I intended to play with in my 300WBY just haven’t got around to it.
