      You probably will have more action then a timer feeder at it ! They still will come to it in the daylight probably even more !

        Actually , yes there can be a problem with unrestricted corn consumption . If deer have access to unlimited corn after a summer of no corn it can be fatal. I forget the technical term but it does happen every year. Let a deer over eat corn put out for the first time in fall after no corn all year can be fatal. I know personally of instances where this has happened confirmed by my biologist.

              No - I have found that it forces me to pay more attention to the things that get them up and moving and when. I don’t have a ton of deer but I do believe mature bucks don’t like eating off the ground and are lazy.

                I fill this with a mix of corn, sweet feed and golden nuggets every 2 weeks and haven't had any issues with them going nocturnal.
