Just a ball cap here, aint got no cows.

Do horses count? I dont have any cows either, but used to ride roughstock years back. I do occasionally wear a cap even though I don't play baseball.

No straw between Labor Day and Easter
Never put a hat on a bed (bad luck)
Never wear another mans hat
Always set a hat on the crown so the luck doesn't run out
Never at the table
And if a woman puts your hat on then...

The whole straw hat/felt hat in the winter is silly. If it hot during the winter I’m wearing my straw if it’s cold my Felt. That one cliche/tradition has to be one of the dumbest... especially in Texas and southern US
