I'm going to lean more so towards he is going away for the 3 years of his sentence since he couldn't be the one to give them what they wanted, so for that he will pay the full price cause he is of no use.

I read political forums for pure entertainment.

I’m convinced both sides are nuts.

I suspect he will face additional charges for lying again and spend more than three years since the dems couldn't get him to lie about Russian collusion.

              Fair enough sir

That mindset (which I have nothing against) always reminds me of the Neimoller passage.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Saying both sides are nuts while refusing to be part of a solution is just a form of whining

                    1) I’m betting this Mueller report is a BIG nothing burger. Thus the pivot to campaign finance violations.
                    2) The campaign finance stuff is waaay more serious for trump then the Russian stuff. According to Judge Napalitano, almost 100% chance the SDNY will find a felony indictment once the dig into the records. If they can start to corroborate what Cohen said with actual phone records and documents/timelines...Pence will be finishing out Trumps term.

I get that Cohen is a convicted felon and proven liar. But he got a relatively light sentence. He’ll be out in a few years. Do a multimillion dollar book deal and go on rebuilding his life. He would be the biggest fool on the planet to turn right back around and lie, under oath, again. Especially when the chairman of the committee told him before the testimony that if he lies at all, he would personally “nail him to the cross”. I just don’t think anyone would put themselves in double jeopardy like that after being burnt once already.

You are probably right. But I bet nothing happens bc Trump’s counter will be to investigate their campaign finance records which will yield the same results. It’s like PED’s is baseball, does it really matter if they are all cheating?

I dont disagree with your first point. It does seem odd that they released the checks that were supposedly used to pay off Stormy, and they arent linked to the campaign? So what crime do you think he will be indicted for?

Kind of funny that they have found exactly nothing so far, but there still some people holding out.....
