Found those in a rabbit few years ago, but there were about 20. It was in February. Can't eat another rabbit.

Thats what is called a worbel in rabbits also known ad Bot Fly larvae. They are in more than rabbits my friend but the meat is edible. They do not affect it in any way.

Chew, what the heck was going on with that deer? Did you save that juice for further studies? LoL

The bunny will eat just fine, I don't know about the worm.

Crazy, I shot a rabbit in Colorado 2 years ago in August and it had one.

Call Andrew Zimmern, I'm sure he's eaten them before.

Lol, I meant for the rabbit. But I can see how that might have been taken differently :-)

Like others have said, the rabbit is fine to eat. But as far as the rabbits losing the worms when it gets cold...doesn't happen. The worms live under the skin of the rabbit where the temperature stays a balmy 102° year round. The cold has zero effect on the worms.
If I didn't think my opinion was right, then it wouldn't be my opinion. So, any other opinion must be wrong, therefore stupid.
