My oldest sons first hog hunt

We went to where my BIL works by Rio Grande City and took my wife and oldest son along with my sister and her 2 sons. We were after a big hog my sister had gotten a picture of on her trail cam and I don't believe we caught him but we caught a different big hog. He ended up weighing 268. My son loved it and had a blast. I did too! It was fun carrying him on my back through the brush, some of my first memories of hog hunting are of me being carried the same way by my grandpa and his hunting buddies.

At first I read that it was fun carrying him (the hog) on your back. Then I thought: carrying a huge 268 lb stinking boar hog in your back....no way. Then I figured it out lol. Glad you took your son and had big success. That is one big ugly pig.

Yeah I guess I could have written that differently, because dragging him 150+ yards back to the truck was not much fun at all. Lol
