I already cut the skull cap. I should have kept the skull intact. If the cape is ruined, I could buy a replacement cape, use an artificial skull, or just do antlers on a plaque deal. I'll probably opt for the plaque. I like those old school looking antler displays anyway.

It's not all bad. Now I have a GREAT excuse to hunt elk again next September.
