TBH Video Journal - Ep. 19 - "Chili for Breakfast" (The Deer Camp Series)

One of my goals with the Video Journal was to show more of the behind the scenes aspect of hunting camp through my "Deer Camp Series." I've done videos from Stolle Deer Camp, CDLC and South Hills Ranch. In this edition, the girls and I spent a weekend "hunting" and hosting Michaela's boyfriend, Jake, and Courtney's boyfriend, Kyle, and Kyle's dad, Doug, at the old MMR (Morris-Middleton Ranchette) in LaSalle County.

The Old Timers here are aware of the history and significance of the MMR to TexasBowhunter.com (you can start to catch up or refresh by checking out the MMR thread in our History/Traditions forum.

What are your favorite hunting memories from hunting camp? Those that have shared in the history of the MMR, what stands out to you? Please share your memories, photos or videos here and/or in the comments on YouTube.

          Great stuff, MM!

The MMR definitely rates up there with some of my fondest hunting memories of all time.

Did Casey ever kill anything besides rats & brain cells there?

LOL! He managed to kill a hog on our first trip before they became educated.

The center, or hub, of deer hunting is it's camp.

                      Very well done Michael.

I'm pretty much speechless after watching that...this video sums up what going "hunting" means to me...making lifelong memories. Thanks for taking the time to film and produce these videos, Michael. Looking forward to the next episode! [emoji1474]
