I got back from Georgia a few weeks ago. Nailing a 7'4" gator. Had to have a hook in it before you shoot it. NO hanging hooks with bait on them. Snag drag bang. That is what we did and the skull on my gator was shattered after shooting. There went the Euro.

The jelly rolls at top of tail are what can be called gator backstraps. Most tender.

Here is how we have done a few or ours. The one on the wall is a rug type with the back filled. The one on the couch is soft tanned back skin. And of course, the European skull mount. We also have skin mounted heads, but I didn't take a pic of those.

Who does a good job on gator euros? Any recommendations?

These are basically my options unless y’all can give me a better idea.

If I shot one and could afford it, this is what I would do.

I've actually searched for them on ebay to buy. I'd love to have one on my patio.

I did a euro skull mount and had the skin made into a gun case.

I'd have boots, a belt, and a cool holster made, buy a stainless Colt Delta Elite, and start open carrying.


If you're wearing gator boots and have a 10mm in a matching holster....you're pretty much bulletproof.

Look on Brush Country Studios website. They have several in the gallery, and they all look incredible. Not a cheap mount by any means though.
