                  On the snake question, as with any ground blind, there are always the possibility of snakes. Built a couple of these a few years ago and they are solid blinds. Thinking of building another, but I have thought of possibly putting it on an elevated platform.

                          Built something similar to this but made it 8 foot diameter for plenty of room. Used camo burlap on sides for breeze to move through during most of season to stay cool. Later during season put black plastic under the fabric to block wind and darken it up on the inside once trees lost their leaves. Ran chicken wire along PVC to support roof between pipes. Put 2 layers of plastic over roof to waterproof it then more fabric. I think it came out great. Had to move one of my stands around to different spots. Just lift up, put on small trailer hooked to 4 wheeler and drive off. Easy peasy!
