    Tagging a Low fence deer???

    Is it legal to ear tag a low fence deer if you come across a fawn? I was just thinking it would be pretty cool when i come across some fawns bedded down to go ahead and tag them and watch/track the through the years. texas or oklahoma fyi. im going to call the game warden and ask him as well but was just wandering what you guys know

                          Not sure if it's legal or not but we had a young buck show up at my place in Lampasas that had an ear tag and there was no high fence places any where around us. We decided to just watch him and see what he grew up to but I left the place before he got over 3. The only thing I would think that would make it illegal is that the state owns the deer.
