New ride for the wife

I had a thread on here a week or so ago asking about the Jaguar F-Pace. Well we went to Austin Tuesday to "look" at them. Wife walks in and sees this bad boy on the show room floor. About 2 1/2 hours later we were headed home with it.

2018 Jaguar F-Pace Prestige 20D








This is projected on the ground at night from the mirrors, I thought it was pretty cool.


With just a little running around town it is getting over 26mpg and the little diesel engine is smooth as silk and has plenty of power. I am itching to take a road trip and see what the MPG numbers will be. The sticker said 33 hwy.

The wife is happy, so life is good right now.

Nice looking vehicle.

I've heard a lot of good things about Jaguar and Range Rover ever since Tata Motors bought them from Ford back in 2008.

I'm all about American and like Ford, but both those brands suffered quality control issues under Ford ownership.

the lowest base rate is around the mid 40's and they will go up to about mid 70's

Will have a hitch installed, was not going to pay the dealership $2,400.00 to install one when I can get it done for $300.00 or less
