The times I have been there are in the middle of Nov, usually the peak of the rut. It can be brutally cold for a bow hunter , ask me how I know. Hope the weather is good for you.

Hope you have a safe trip and a successful hunt. Enjoy your family time with your dad. My son and I made a Idaho trip 3651 miles a few months ago elk hunting and it was time I will cherish forever. Reminded me of the time I spent with my dad chasing white tails when I was young.
