Inside spread??

I had this buck come out last weekend and I passed on him. I just didn't think he was at 13". What do y'all think? He is a 5x6 and both G2's fork. its hard to tell in the pictures but he does. Please age and score.

5.5-6.5 yrs old just outside the ears 13.5 -14 inches minimum.

I agree with all above. I think he's closer to 15 tha. 13, I'll go with 14.5 inside. And he is old enough, I'd shoot him

He's legal and most game wardens wouldn't write you a ticket for just being under on a mature deer, I wouldn't think

I still hate this. Population control of deer verses trophy hunting. I like big racks, who doesn't? But at the end of the day I care more about delicious venison. I always look for the biggest bodied deer and have taken wider inside spread because the buck I wanted to shoot was going to be illegal... even when it was the "bigger" deer. If bucks need to get older in any area to help population, regulate to doe only. After a few seasons they'll be more deer. It's not guaranteed they we all be 20+ inch spread no matter how old they get. Stepping down. Just still not a fan of AR.
