    Cornyn to oversee FBI?

Cornyn in on the shortlist to replace Comey. I thought we were going to drain the pond, not place a big T U R D in the lifeguard chair to oversee it!

Which brings me to a new revelation, if a role of the FBI is legal accountability of the Gov't, then it should be an elected office, not appointed. Appointments are beholden to those who appointed them.

The only good I can see out of that jack wagon becoming the head of the FBI is that we will get someone new in the Senate.

Met with him last Wednesday in D.C. Always interesting as he likes to talk hunting issues. It would be interesting if he is chosen for that position as we have a followup meeting with him in Austin in a few weeks.

But, but, but...he wears an American flag label pen and talks tough! He's gotta be one of us, right?

He IS the problem. Dear god I hope he isn't chosen. I think it was Joe Paggs who did an interview with him that will tell you all you need to know.

I wished he was replaced as our senator.

                    He's no friend to Texas.

                        From his Senate Seat?

No money to be made as the FBI Director.

Not likely to leave the relative safety of an incumbent elected office for a job where he serves at the pleasure of the president.
