          Watched a county worker running a machine on an old county road that had a chip seal applied and maybe regular asphalt under that. The potholes had become gigantic and would wreak havoc on your vehicke’s suspension and alignment. They used an old industrial tractor with a PTO reclaimer/asphalt miller on the back. Totally smoothed out all of that bumpy broken road. Not really sure if they ran a packer over it later or not. But it seemed to be the answer for a lower cost method of fixing that particular road that doesn’t see high traffic.
