Bear destroyed the garage!

Had a bear break into my mother's garage in Durango while she was down in Texas visiting family.
Got in to get the trash out of her trash can, and opened the fridge up in the garage as well.

Pretty impressive amount of destruction!

I called the game warden since she was out of town. He came over with the trap and also gave me three rounds of buck shot. He said if I saw it and wanted to kill it, then it'd just save him the trouble. I stayed there that night but the bear didn't' come back. We left the trap there for about 5 days and never caught it. GW said if the bear is willing to do that much damage then the best thing to do is put it down rather than relocate it.

Crazy how he just ripped through that sheet metal like that. My guess is he broke out the window and just started pulling down on it with all its weight. Then just peeled it open from there. Wish she had video cameras. Would have been awesome to see!
