What is Academy's policy on accepting competitors coupons?

I used 2 Sports Authority coupons at the Mckinney store last week. They were very nice and said Academy accepted all competitors coupons as long as it was a dollar amount and not a percentage amount off.

Just tried to use the same coupon at the West Plano store and the manager there said NO WAY! and was quite rude about it. Said it was up to each individual store as to accept coupons or not. Thanks.

Academy is weird sometimes.....one store says one thing to cover their butt and other says somethign else. They try to put on a front, push the issue and they will allow it usually. When in fact they all have the same policy

I tried it at Christmas. BP had a cam cam on sale for $49... their price $89.. They told me they would take off $10. The BP was about 1/2 mile away. So I would say no.

But I still consider Academy to be a Top notch store!

I got a feeder 50% off after Christmas !!
