    Box blind

I finished my hunting blind yesterday. I reused a privacy fence to build it.

Door looks a bit off but either way that'll do for a hunt shack

Not trying to detract, but if you don't have a way for rainwater to drain off that tarp, your roof is gonna be like an upside down umbrella if you get much rain. Can't tell from the picture whether it drains or not.

Yeah its closer to 10x10. This was a low budget build only using scrap lumber. The roof does have a slope to it. Just looking for something to hide me and keep my scent down. I have a Maverick tower blind at the other end of this farm.

That blind will hunt! I built one similar years ago. I had trouble with critters digging under the blind. Finally got some 12 in flashing and dug a trench out perimeter and attached to stop digging. Killed lots of critters from that blind.

                        It should work
A good idea as alternative material for blind

I'll be planting switch grass around it to help blend it in. Although when I drove up to it on Sunday I bumped 10 doe that was bedded next to it.
