      No comparison! Your average mature KS deer is bigger than a mature buck in TX. Yes there are big bodied protein pigs in STX . But across the board them Midwest deer are bigger.

        We have killed several bucks 220 plus off of our place in Wilbarger and Foard county, largest was 256, I think a northern strain of deer were introduced to the area back in the 60's so I am told.

            This my buck from Ohio. He field dressed 280lbs. My buddy Chris, killed a Kansas buck few yrs earlier that made this one seem like a peeon.

                        That buck on the left is about as perfect in my opinion as one can get. Beautiful buck for sure.
