                      This is exactly what in wanting to do!! Very nice!! Could you pm me a rough cost on all the frame work. (Cutting out existing roof, construction of new/overhang. I know it varies, but just curious what kind of ballpark I'd be looking at. I already have the concrete.

                        I gave 4500 for labor and about 1800 for materials. That's roofed and all. I made them take out a brick column and raise up a lam beam so the ceiling would all be the same level. I didn't bid it out, just called a guy my buddy uses and he said he could start next day.

                          What's the size of that porch? Didn't see it listed anywhere. Looks really nice.

                            New slab is 17'8" wide, and comes out 14' from the existing slab...the fireplace push out is 2'X4'. Existing porch was a little over 9' deep.
