To many to just choose one 90 percent of Texas country songs are good in my opinion when your listening to it it usually involves a lot of beer whiskey and beautiful Texas women!!!

Check out Uncle Lucius-Aint it the same song is an absolute jam

Also all Sturgill Simpson. I would do anything to bring Waylon back and have Sturgill and him cut a live album together...

Can't believe I didn't see more Whiskey Myers. And whoever said there's no red dirt in Texas must not be from here.

                              Your favorite Texas country song?

I had thought I commented on this thread but I guess I didn’t. I’m a hUge Texas country fan and it’s practically all I will listen too. I’m a big fan of songs that tell a story, I think that’s why I like Max Stallings music so much. In no particular order.

                              Max Stalling-Pila song
                              Turnpike troubadours- The bird hunters
                              Charlie Robison- indanola
                              Reckless Kelly- Snow fall
                              Ware Bowen- West Texas rain
                              Cody Johnson- different day
                              Cody Jinks- mommas song
                              Pat Green - whiskey
Cory morrow- 21 days on the road

Lately I have been listening to a lot of Parker McCollum and Koe Wetzel.

Hard to pick "That One" kind of depends on the mood.

Cody Canada now or before as Cross Canadian Ragweed
                                Stoney Larue
                                George Strait
                                Aaron Watson
                                Ray Wylie Hubbard
                                Freddie Fender
                                Wade Bowen
                                Charlie Robison

Hard to think of them all!! Lots of local singers that do not have the radio time or spotlight but are extremely talented.
