I tried to buy one just like that.

    1966 800A Aristocrat

If that is a V8...its probly a 345, Im guessin. They also had some sort of slant 4. Just a V8 cut in half.

Looks like it has a PTO. Is there a factory winch on the front?

It has a 4 banger. But looks like it sits crooked! The transfer case has two sticks coming out of it. No winch. It did try to start but not enough spark.

That is what mine had. I think it was 84 horsepower (lol). No top end speed, but in 4WD low and granny gear it had tons of torque.

I fixed mine up back in the early eighties and drove it to High School. It was a real chick magnet......not

I had a 68' Scout 800 and it was sweet. I drove all over PINS back then, thing was a beast in the sand, I had both the full top and pickup top. Mine had the v-8 too, I believe it was a 262 c.i. with a 4 spd standard if I remember correctly. Sold it and got a 77 Scout II, and that one had the 345/auto. The 800 was my favorite, wished I could get that one back.
