Some Milky Way and astrophotography

    Just set your zoom to infinity when taking star pics and make sure to use a tripod and a remote shutter release so you don't shake the camera of the long exposures. I like to leave them long enough to get the stars to trail.

    You can also get some colored gel covers and put them on a flash light and paint different pieces of the back drop in different colors when doing long exposure.
