I'm off work and it's raining and my jeep is broke down...so while I'm waiting on jeep parts I decided to jump on the trailer. Nothing like a side project to my project.

It's not done but it will hold a boat IF I can ever get the bottom painted.

I'm done with it until the boat is on there and I can custom mount everything i need.

        It cleaned up really well.

PVC boards from Lowes. Slick and won't rot.

Started the manual jack plate today as well.

I shaped these brackets with a hand grinder and a sawzall.

Then 45 minuets on the drill press. Not a bad start.

Any reason not to use a hydraulic jack plate?

I talked to mowdy and was told not to put one on there. The length and design of the boat makes it unnessary. It's a set it and forget it design.

Excellent use of the toy gun. [emoji23] I've got a bunch of those lying around.
