How far do you drive to get to your hunting place?

10 minutes with a 4 wheeler to private land and 15 minutes with a vehicle to 2 separate WMAs.

30 min for dove/duck...hr and a half to deer/hogs

Just moved to PA and didn't give up my Sulphur River frontage lease. 2.5 hour drive after a 3 hour plane ride.

Got lucky with a new spot this year. 10 minute drive then about a 10 minute walk. Other place is about 135 miles.

It's funny that some of yall miss haveint a drive. When my folks bought their land a few years ago everyone just knew my dad was going to give up his spot on the lease he's been on 20+ years but he didn't. He says sure it's awesome being able to take a 100 yard walk out the door and be in his stand at home, but he said there is just something fun about the 3 hour drive to the lease that makes him enjoy it. He doesn't get to the lease near as much as he used to but he's still there every opener and for a week or two at Thanksgiving and Christmas.

About 9-10 miles give or take, its nice being so close but don't hunt near as much if I had a lease, especially morning hunts.
