2009 Shoot Scores
Due to the success of last years aggregate scoring, we are going to use the aggregate scoring this season as well, with a
couple of minor changes. If you start shooting in one division, you need to stay in that division for the entire season.
Iwill come back>>>>----->Robin
For the final shoot of the year the top four shooters in each division will be grouped together. At the end of the
season your ranking will be based upon the total aggregate score for the year. Plaques will be awarded based
upon aggregate scores for each division. The more you shoot, the better your chance of posting a high aggregate score will be.
We shoot LSBA Stakes and Yardages. You must shoot in an LSBA recognized class, with the exception of the "Pro for Fun" class.
The classes are:
"Pro For Fun" (Not an LSBA Class)
Male / Female Bowhunter Open (MBO / FBO)
Male / Female Longbow (MLB / FLB)
Male / Female Recurve (MRC / FRC
Teen Traditional (TT)
Teen Compound (TC)
Youth Traditional (YT)
Youth Compound (YC)
Male / Female Bowhunter (MBH / FBH)
Bowhunter Novice
Minicub
Divisions with three or more shooters will be awarded a plaque for First Place. Divisions with less than three shooters will be awarded pins for First Place. You must shoot in the final shoot in order to receive a plaque.
If you are shown in the wrong division, your score is incorrect, or your name is spelled incorrectly, it is because
your scorecard and/or the sign-in sheet were illegible/incorrect. You may contact the webmaster
at webmaster@saltgrass.org to make corrections. If you shoot in two different divisions we will score
each division per the guidelines above.

THE COMPETITION WAS TUFF
THE 12 is mine>>>------>12
Hurricane Ike did a war dance on the range back in September, but thanks to the efforts of the crew from UMW and the volunteers who have worked so hard to get the range back in shape, the range looked really good.
Thirty-nine hardy souls braved the cold and the wind on Saturday to open the February shoot.
Another 41 came out on Sunday with the temperatures still cool, but less windy.
We had 14 new animals this month, with another 2 on backorder that should arrive in time for the March shoot.
The food was excellent, as usual, and this time included a wild pig.
The scores have been posted, so go to the website to see your standings. We are using aggregate scoring again this year, so come to as many shoots as you can to keep your score up!
We had 80 shooters over the weekend and it is important that we be able to read your scorecard.
If your name, division or score is incorrect, it is because we could not read your scorecard! Please make sure to fill it out completely AND legibly if you want your score posted correctly. Thanks to all who came out and supported Salt Grass at the February shoot. We hope to see you again at the March shoot.
