        I use coffee in my brisket rub every time. Think it adds a great edge. 1 part coffee, 2 parts kosher salt, 2 parts coarse black pepper and about 1/2 a part garlic powder.

                          Flavor was awesome and unique that's for sure. No coffee taste at all but I think I'll cut back on equal parts sea salt as the combination of the rub and the bacon of course made it a little salty. Still excellent flavor and we will do it again for sure. Like I said will prob cut down to about half the sea salt on rub.
