No one call suggest the best bow for you. Go to multiple dealers, they all want to sell you a bow so they will let you handle all of them. Buy what you are most comfortable with.

Truth. I have "my" preferences but that may not hold true to the next guy. Brand loyalty is the stupidest thing I've ever witnessed when it comes to a bow as much as they change each and every year.

I have a Halon that I really like. That being said, there are a lot of great bows out there, and you should even give Bear a look. Check out the torque tests on Youtube. Bear is winning there.

Find something a couple years old, used on AT, and save a TON of money. Faktor 34 would be a great choice if you are looking for a tad longer Hoyt. Probably find them for $500 all day long. I got mine left over BNIB last year for $600 shipped.

I personally do not believe there is anywhere close to enough advancement from year to year to justify the cost of a new bow. And you can even get current year models for hundreds less in the classifieds on AT.

This is a good plan. I bought my E35 for $650 shipped when they were going for $900 in the stores. You couldn't tell it from a new one.
