Recommend me an AR trigger for less than $200

I have looked at some hyperfires and others, but looking to get a decent drop in trigger, but I don't want the trigger to be 30% of what the gun costs, which would be the case with a Giselle.

    Other options?

For hunting specifically, what is preferred single stage or 2?

I bought this one and am happy with it.

It shows to be out of stock now though.

Most will recommend Geissele or CMC.

CMC you will be able to get for under $200 no problem. They are $167.50 on Midway now, and I have seen them for cheaper. I have no experience with CMC, but know they are recommended a lot.

I have the Geissele SSA-E trigger in mine. It can be picked up for about $240.
I bought mine from Palmetto State Armory for and it came with 10 Pmags. I didn't need to mags, so I sold them, basically only paying $150 for the Geissele trigger. They still have this deal on their website if you are interested.

As far as single stage vs. 2-stage, I prefer the 2-stage for hunting, It gives you that last second chance to correct your aim if you need.
Really though, I don't think it makes too big of difference anyways if you have a good trigger with a light trigger pull.

Geissele is the only way to go.

Have you tried every trigger on the market to substantiate this claim?

i can't speak for outbreaker, but i have had over a dozen AR's and several after market triggers and the geiselle was by far my favorite.

No I have not tried every trigger on the market but have probably tried more than most people know exist.

Here is the list that I have tried on one of my ARs or have shot on another's.

                  RRA
                  Bushmaster stock
                  Ruger stock
                  DPMS
                  Jard
Stoner (dangerous would rather go without a trigger than use this one)
                  Del-ton
                  Timney
                  CMC
                  JP
                  Geisselle

Once I found Geisselle I never looked back.

BTE is what I have. I honestly can't say what's the best. All I know is I like a single stage trigger.
