    Tuning triax

I have a new triax with a qad ultra rest. When looking at the rest in the “down” position it’s about 1/2” high from the shelf. It hasn’t been paper tuned but shoots good for now, and paper tuning next week. Shop I bought from suggested shooting it so it’d settle and I’d get used to it first.

I put on a new spot-Hogg hunter sight and with the housing lowered all the way down I’m still 18”ish low at 10 yards. Question is, if I lower the rest and nock point will that allow me to get the housing more centered. I’d really hate to have my pins start in the middle half of the sight.

With the arrow rest up, the bottom of the arrow needs to be in the top half of the Berger Hole, and level off the string.

You may need to move your peep once this is done. Moving the peep is what is going to move the sight housing.
