I notice in the kill video he still has the lump under his chin. In the LDP he doesn't.
Was it an impaction, under his tongue, or what?

I've seen numerous times, while caping deer, that they will get a tare/rip in the thin skin under their tongue. Grass and grain will pack in there over time and it just gets bigger and bigger.. Stinks like a rotten hog pen but when I've dug it out there is never any infection or anything. Just a big sack full of stinky grass and mush.
Their immune system and ability to fight infection is amazing..
