        You are correct. A few years ago you could bow hunt Matador with just an APH permit but now you have to be drawn. There aren't any good mule deer at Matador anyway, don't even put in for the drawing.

          Yep. Heard the Mule Deer situation was downright awful at the Matador.
          Also, If you can stand to get turned away, I hear you can wait around early morning for a standby slot.

                          i would be interested in an Archery Muley Hunt. Any one have times and approxament cost figured out yet??????????

                            If you're asking about the draw hunt, $3 to apply and if selected, permit is $130/hunter 17 yrs of age or over along with a valid hunting license & archery stamp. Hunt dates were mid-late Oct., Nov and Dec., extended hunt period. Example: Oct. 15-20 begins at 12noon on the first day and ends at noon on the last date.
