    Heck, we may have been there. he had clinics at Homberg aka Terrel Park, Bayou Din and IdylWild. Maybe one at the BCC.

        I grew up playing in his junior golf tournament out at Idylwild from the time I was 7-16. I can still remember sitting on the range while he gave clinics after the round and watching him hit those high cuts. His nephew is the head pro out at the Beaumont Country Club so I get to see him a bunch. Terrible deal, cancer is the worst.

            If I am not mistaken he was the pioneer of the long putter. His fade was money..

            I watched him several times at Colonial.
