I have used them at aransas wlf. If they kep the skeeters off you there , they will work anywhere . Try a new pad.

I have 3, love them and are a permanent part of bow hunting gear. I have an older one with a sliding on of switch, a newer one with a dial on off switch and a lantern type one. The dial on the newer one can get bumped to on too easy burning all your butane. The one with the lantern is nice except the light can be switched on easily when in your gear bag. The old original one is still the best, imo.

Absolutely a must have! When I hear the 1st buzz, out it comes and mosquitos fly away, also have the lantern for our deck.

Yeah....I swear by mine. You do have to change out the pad every 3 or 4 hours. Also....it keeps the mesquoitos at bay but doesn't do a darn thing against gnats. But gnats don't suck blood. :-)

I would give up hunting in camo, before I gave up my ThermaCell. You just need a new/ different pad.

You can't be on a tripod on a really windy day and expect it to work...
