Not a landpride but I use a Plotmaster by Tecomate and it works very well.

How does it do when the ground is hard from lack of rain?

I have one very similar to this one. It works great when there is moisture in the ground, but I have to have a railroad iron on top for weight or it wont cut. I also have to make tight right hand circles to get it to cut in, left won’t work. If its dry it takes multiple passes to get through to tillable dirt. It’s great for my small 1/4 to 1/2 acre plots, no real complaints other than it needs extra weight.
