I have made this and love it. One thing I've started doing as of late is mixing it with hot cider. I bought some of the powdered instant cider that seems to only be available this time of year. I use hot water from my Kuerig to mix the cider then top off with the apple pie. Awesome.

take any fruit that you have around... Say peaches....
Put them in a mason jar all the way to the top.
Do not over fill just fill it full.
Then fill the jar up with Everclear and let it sit for a few days.
Shake this jar a couple of times a day.
Then pour off the Everclear into another jar.
Keeping the fruit in the original jar.
Add sugar to the fruit. and close the jar and let it sit a few days shaking up a couple of times a day.
when you get the syrup at the bottom poor that into the everclear jar.

and repeat this process 2 maybe 3 times. You want to get all the syrup out of the fruit and each time you do this you get a sweeter product.

You will end up with a jar that is full of everclear and fruit juice mix.
You now have 100% alcohol flavored drink.... you will need to cut this with water to your own strength.
Save the fruit in the freezer to add to drinks or what ever another time..

You are overdoing it. Grandma filled mason jars with raw cherries, 1/2 everclear and 1/2 water. Seal the jars and let them sit. Served at holiday meals 4-5 cherries and a lil juice would do you right!!

Tried peach. Not 1/2 as good as the apple. But on the bright side maybe I won't feel the need to sample the product everynight

I made a big batch as well for the holidays, going to use as adult stocking stuffers.

Be careful with it getting on anything, that stuff is STICKY when it drys.
