Just curious for everyone saying mature and 6.5+ what are you looking at. Besides his rack I don't see anything that says mature or old.

Everything on his body is tight and streamlined, neck meets brisket really high above brisket, sitting really high on front hooves, flank tight and zero gut, on Petton's place I would expect a fully mature place to be fuller and more of a gut especially if pic was early December which would make him pre rut.
I just see nothing that says mature and especially not6.5-7.5.

This could be a learning experience or a test by Peyton

I'm with the 4-5 crowd too. Also staining on hocks. Those 6 and 7 yr old deer usually have more and darker staining even pre rut. I don't know if he has the tine length to hit upper 70's lower 80's but he carries his mass out well. I'm saying 70-72 and 5.5 tops.

170” conservatively and 4.5 IMO, no sway back, no Roman nose, no barrel chest, no “short legs”, no thick brisket. He’s not 5.5+ IMHO but what a gorgeous buck.

4.5 max , body shows no signs of being older . its a bigger version of the deer in Brady. shows signs of 3.5 where I hunt.
