Some of us can dream to shoot a cull like those, messed up or not...hope they make through the season; be interesting to see if they get their racks back.

that's a shame about those two bucks.

Did the protein get wet in the bossbuck? Looks like the lid came off.

No. It all looked fine. We're in the process of replacing those metal and tube handles with Bungee chords. How did you "hoss" look this month? Looks like Baby Boy stopped growing about the 29th. So much for reaching 180. High 60's to low 70's is our hope now.

Baby boy should be 6 1/2. They'll shoot him this year.

Here are a couple more elk pics. Found him at a different pen.

Dang, I wish he'd have stayed a 10. I wanted that high rack. Hopefully I'll get a chance at him next year.

Wow - Y'alls managementbucks/culls are my deer of a lifetime.

Good luck with your decision....but then again, you really can't go wrong can you (rhetorical question)

Shame about all those deer including baby boy... I have a hard time killing deer with big frames or lots of points too... but sometimes I have to to help pay the feed bill...

Trying to get away from it though...

If I had to choose between which of those bucks to fight the hardest for I would probably lobby for the high buck the most... looks to have good long beams and is starting a G-4 on his good side.

I really wouldn't want to kill either of them in their current state...

Here's the buck I sat on last weekend. I'll be out there next month trying to get video of him and lay my eyes on him. If he's not too big or too young, he'll go to the top spot on my list. Both brows are split. Has a really short 4 on the right. I have him right at 60 up. As long as he's under 100 up, he'll do in the size department. Hopefully, he'll be out of velvet when I go back and can get a closer idea how big he is. Don't want to spend a lot of time chasing him and he be too big. Plus, if he's near 60, I'd have to get him past a couple other hunters.

I like pot belly the best myself. Love that huge body and thick, chocolate antlers.
