I'm in Angleton. I'm not big on the IPA's. there not to bad once you get past the first one lol. Where you finding your beers ain't seen some of them.

Being in the metroplex I like to try to support the locals or semi-local.

Rahr makes a couple of good ones in my opinion (bucking buck, buffalo butt), A local company in Granbury makes some tasty stuff, but it is hard to find since they do not bottle it . Their name is Revolver. The blood and honey they make is great when it can be found.

I also like fireman's 4 and 512 pecan porter from real ale.

Food king in lake jackson is a hot bed.....you need to make the trip.

Best beer from the Metroplex I've had was Lakewood Temptress. Delicious and robust milk stout.
