Can someone explain cutting the carpet. I'm not able to visualize where to cut it

Cut openings for door and Windows. Cut your door and windows out of the panel then cut the carpet for the opening. I would cut it so I could wrap the carpet around the wire and zip tie it to the panel

Nice. I realize this is an old thread but Matador linked me to it. Thanks. Materials probably cost a little more now but this looks doable for someone that doesn't have building skills. Looks simple and hopefully low budget.
