What distance do you shoot best at?

I am really not a very good shot to begin with. But I shoot better from 25-30 and then 30-35 than I do at 20-25. Then I am better at 50-60 than 40-50. Whats the deal?
Both my Robin Hoods have been at 60. Both were pure luck I would imagine.

I don't shoot traditional, just a wheeled bow.

What is your favorite or perfect yardage? Either with trad or compound?

I set all my bow stands around 30 yards right in my wheel house.

I would say mine is 30 yards.

I like to almost touch hair with my broadhead, that way, I'm pretty sure I'll hit what I'm aiming at .....

I'm a 15-yarder, or even 10, but that's too close for a stand, so I set them at 20 and do just fine. I shoot better when actually shooting at a deer or hog than shooting at paper.

15 yards and less. Took one of my Ibex in Spain at 72 yards but that aint the goal of a bowhunter!

The closer, the better, is my favorite yardage

I shoot a lot of 300 rounds, so 20 yards for me.

25-30 is perfect. I dont mind further shots, that is just the sweet spot. Out of all the animals I have shot with a bow, only 3 have been at 20 and one at 12. All others have been 26-32 with one at 58.

                20 or less.

i am not a great shot either and really dont like anything over 25, especially after making a bad shot on my buck this year at about 27. i will be way more selective about my shots from now on, regardless of what the buck looks like, tough lesson learned.

I am pretty much 20 or less. I put my feeders at 20 Yards from my blinds for bow hunting. If the critter is between me and the feeder I know it is in range.

99.9% of my shots on animals are inside of 25 yards. 15-25 is what I practice mostly. I will stretch it out to 50 just for focus. Shooting accurately at longer distances really makes those shorter distances easy.

25-30 seems to be where I'm most comfortable at and have optimal grouping.

Me too. I enjoy shooting targets at further distances for a change of pace,
                            but $$$ is 27-28 yards. :-)
