Thanks again guys, and some of you should read all post.

    It was running
    I topped off with diesel
    I made it home
    Runs fine
I'm shop now getting new filters
    Draining tank
    Moving on

    Will never do that again...

Will still run engine when getting gas most the time

Glad I didn't buy a dodge as well.

      I hear you
I just got it last week and drove gas truck before. Was in a hurry on the phone excited about the 2 bucks I just jumped on my new Grayson place.

Both shooters and I still got the high from them.

Hope this turns out with a happy ending. I've heard the 6.7s are real picky about fuel, and if the pump gives up, it's a BIG repair bill.

Some of you have been sold a bill of goods on this topic...and some actually paid it.

You were never in any danger. If you'd gotten closer to 50/50 you could dump a quart of atf in it and change the filter a couple times.

I've had some employees do this....one was in a brand new Mack.[emoji15]

Sounds like you're going to be fine. I remember the look on my dad's face when my mom called him from a pay phone in 1995 telling him the truck lurched to a stop a few miles from the gas station and she thought she filled the tank with gas on the brand new 95 7.3 powerstroke. He and my uncle drover out with 1 empty barrel and 1 barrel of diesel. They drained the tank and refilled with diesel, somehow got it started. Ran rough for a minute or so, then just fine. Went on to put over 100K miles before trading it in with no problems.

You should probably avoid putting gas in your truck in the future.

If you had bought a dodge.....you'd be replacing the ball joints too!

By no means am I judging either, just to be clear. Stupid crap happens to the best of us. The first year I had mine, I would double check which pump was in my truck before starting pumping. I still remember getting halfway through a fill up and panicking that I accidentally put in gas.

Sounds like you got your figured out, good to hear.

But you're tough guy mirrors, and fake nut sack hanging from the back bumper would still look really rad![emoji23]

My trusty diesel mechanic wouldn't take my money. He does all the work on my company 7.3s and 6.4s. He said it's fine. He put two bottles of Lucas additative and said have great day. Running fine.

That's good news there, didn't work out so well for a bud of mine. He filled it up and drove it off with gas in it, cost him $11k at Anderson Ford.

This is what I was afraid of. I have never trusted dealership service.

I was told once they don't make money on selling cars, the money is in the service.

I was not about to let them justify major repairs without hearing it destroy first lol.
