I leave mine running so my dogs can stay nice and cool while I fuel up.

You open my fuel door up on my Diesel trucks now and in big bold letters it say DIESEl/DEF over and under both fuel caps, so the mistake does not happen again.
        this!
Happened all the time in the military with bone head operators. If you only put just over 2 gallons of unleaded and then 22 of diesel, just add a little oil and you will be fine. Probably wouldn't hurt to change filter by this weekend but I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Just spoke to my ford Mechanic, your ok on Ratio, he said drop 1.5 quarts of atf in it, and roll... you will be fine, and he said you dont really need to change filters.. w/ percentage you did, no need..

he says 5 gallons on percentage is borderline dead engine..

Just bought my first diesel and could easily see myself or my wife doing the same thing. The first thing I did was go buy some good quality spray paint, and paint my gas cap bright green

My wife did this when I was offshore. $800 mistake. Start it and it will be closer to $8000
Hope this is what you did, brand new Ford cost $11,000 to clean out after it was started.

Topped it with 22.2 gallons diesel.

I'm reading 10% is ok. Idk..
You're absolutely fine. Go one step further and sling a quart of motor oil off in the tank and get on down the road. I ran bio fuels for years and years. One trick when running waste veg oil was to top off the tank with a couple gallons of gasoline.
