A week later, my best buck yet!

This one is a Milam Co buck from the lease I share with Dusty Britches and her step-son. It's low fence, low acreage of 80 acres. Combined with my sister's place, we have 160 acres.
I went down to shoot some pigs, but they pulled a Houdini and were no where to be found. My sister suggested I hunt from her tripod. She drove me out in her scooter and I threw out some corn by hand. I could see our food plot through two shooting lanes, one on the left and one on the right. A big cedar tree was directly in front of me, blocking the view.
After sunup, the does started appearing in the food plot. Soon after I could see a nice mature 8 point chasing them. Then I lost sight of them because of the big tree. Suddenly, several does appeared to my left, eating the corn! They started looking behind them and I knew the buck was coming. They ran off and the buck walked by, but I couldn't get a shot on him due to the small openings.
After he left, I used a doe bleat once and switched to a buck grunt twice, then finished with a doe bleat. Then I put it away. A few minutes later, the buck came back to see what I was offering!!! I quickly drew my bow, and the arrow was perfect. He was quartering away hard, but he only went 40 yards!
I feel so blessed and lucky this year!! Earlier this year, my husband won a Rambo bike with game cart! It was sure handy this weekend. The buck weighed 165#, and we couldn't get him in the scooter. We slid him onto the cart and it was an easy carry to the house!
