    Is it to late ......

I'm on a new lease and would like to put out a small food plot, but I don't have a tractor or any heavy equipment. Is it to late to mow, spray and try and grow a small food plot?

I've watched a couple of youtube videos on using standard garden tools.
    Thoughts?

I don't think so. I'm planting next week.

Plant in mid to late September. Use your plant, just wait a little bit.

We won't plant until the third week of September. So you have plenty of time

No! I will be planting next month. Most Winter time plots will sprout and die with these 90 degree days. I planted to early last year and a lot of it died before Winter.

If there's alot of vegetation to cut I'd try cutting, spray burning, and then planting. Might be hard to get soil right if it was really grown up without burning

Never to late to plant IMO. If you get the rain and get it up the deer will use it when they need it. Usually later in the season will be some of the best hunting when they need it.
