Well Ill start by saying Id rather be lucky than good. Ive stumbled into a true urban honey hole full of great bucks and loaded with deer period. I literally cross the street to hunt. looks like the resident bucks here get a break from me now. Ive been passing up shooter bucks since October while chasing a 6 to 8 year old really wide 8 pointer, Im sure most of you would agree at my decission to end my season in Harris county after this guys walked in! I Couldnt let this one leave without flinging an arrow. Long story short I made a bad shot on this buck and I searched for hours crawling through thickets and somehow managed to locate him in an area by dumb luck. Anyways Im happy to have him and now I will finish my season hunting Grapevine just N of Dallas.
