    Secondary Feathers

So I cut a few secondaries. Very thin compared to the primaries. Do people really get good use out of them, or are you refletching often? I hate to be wasteful, but dont want to waste time grinding/chopping either.

I tried them once and didn't like the performance.

IMO they aren't worth the effort.

Plenty of other people use them

All mine were stiffer than commercial dyed feathers. I would say worth messing with. Especially the price of feathers

They will work, but not as good as primary feathers. You won't know the answer to your own question until you actually try them!

Grind and glue on a few and report back to everyone what your findings are! Sounds like fun!

I tried some really thin, soft ones once. They steered the arrow fine but were loud in flight since they were so soft.
