Bath time for Bucks

I have seen deer wade into water to cool off but this is a first for me. These pics where taken in mid October with air temps between 65-70 degrees.

We have a 1/2 acre dirt tank on our place in Brady and Ive watched bucks in October, when its hot, walk off into it and lay down.. I even saw a particular buck put his entire head under the water.. I actually saw the same buck do this twice..
It was shocking to say the least.

Saw a post on another site where a buck decided to to go full on rut business on a doe decoy in a guys yard and humped it till HE (the buck) bled all over the rear end of that poor decoy....
